Eat what you want?

I have been enjoying my week after Chinese New Year with indulging myself in nature's goodness: fruits and vegetables.
I must admit that eating raw vegetables can be a bit tedious and if it is not converted and tossed into a nice salad with tasty herb and olive oil dressing, it can be a bit boring too.
Hence, I have been juicing or blending most of it ( without the dressing that is! )

Lunch today!
5 colours per day ... click to check site..
Apart from shedding some kilo's ( I am trying and beating my body to loose 19 Kilo's - from 109 to 90 ) in short time without doing strenuous exercise or following a "starvation diet", I am also fasting and praying for my healing and spiritual preparation for Easter and Pesach celebrations (more on this later..).

My last doctor's check up revealed elevated
LDL-Cholesterol levels (4.4mmol/L, should be <2.6) on top of a dehydrated, flattened 2 lower disc.
In addition to depending on Jesus Christ for my healing, I am also taking responsibility to make sure I eat the right food.

As below funny French commercial suggests; we could eat healthy without depriving ourselves. Ever thought about the
'French food paradox' ? They drink red wine ( in modesty, please! ), eat mostly Mediterranean style food with olive oil and salads, consume butter, “ Boursin fromage et du pain” and at the same time count themselves among the least with cardio vascular diseases, cholesterol problems, cancer, etc...!

As to the butter: a funny, but true quote on a Dutch Food & Health web read:
"As to butter and margarine, I'd rather trust cows than chemists!"

( Mind you: strongly suggest the sex part in the boundary of marriage only! )
